KTH Two Pack Epoxy Floor Paint (16L Epoxy Floor + 4L Hardener) 20L (Standard Colour)

Description 

2 – PACK EPOXY FINISH is a high-performance two-component epoxy resin-based paint cured by polyamide activator. It has excellent protection against fresh and saltwater, abrasion resistance, and resistance to crude and heavy oils.

Uses

As finishing coat of the epoxy system. Suitable for use on concrete and steel surfaces where the high degree of chemicals, oil, and abrasion resistance is required.

Surface Preparation

Concrete Surface:

Remove all previous coating and chalk by light abrasive blasting. If abrasive blasting is not available, etch the new and uncoated concrete surface with about 5% sulphuric acid solution followed by thorough rinsing with clean water. Allow the surface to dry completely prior to painting application.

Steel Surface:

The mild steel substrate must be completely dry and free from rust, mill scale, dirt, grease, and other contaminants before painting. For maximum adhesion and durability of paint performance, all bare metals should be abrasive blasted to SA21/2 standard prior painting.

Safety Precaution

1. This product is flammable.
2. Keep away from sources of ignition.
3. Keep container tightly closed and keep out of reach of children.
4. Wear suitable personal protective clothing during painting.
5. Ensure adequate ventilation.
6. Do not breathe or inhale spray mist.
7. Do not apply when the relative humidity exceeds 85%.
8. Avoid skin and eye contact. Spillage on the skin should be removed immediately with cleanser, soap, and water. The eye should be well flushed with water and seek medical advice immediately if discomfort persists.
