Description

  • Joint between block wall to reinforced concrete structures (beams, columns & slabs). 
  • High stress areas such as corners and bottom of openings (doors or windows).

Direction 

• Spread a thin layer of base coat (skim coat or render) at least equivalent to the width of jointing tape on to substrate. 
• Embed the jointing tape into the base coat centrally along the joint area. 
• Apply a thin top coat (skim coat or render) over the tape.
